Clifton James also reprises the character in "Superman II" (co-) written by...you guessed it...Tom Mankewicz. ("You gonna have to learn to kick some ass if you wanna be a peacemaker.")<br /><br />For the record, while I understand your feelings (and the Thailand coincidence was way too much), but it's a little harsh. Clifton James was superb in the role ("What are you boy? Some kinda' DOOMSDAY machine????") and was a good counterpoint to "Bond in the Bayou."<br /><br />The LALD boat chase was awesome and the bride crying on the groom's shoulder was a master stroke.<br /><br />Contrast this performance with his windy, blow-hard D.A. in "The Untouchables"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
